Contactors — TeSys Deca LC1D 13 frames, 9–150 A

UL/CSA horsepower ratings. 3-pole (3 NO) with built-in 1NO + 1NC auxiliary. LC2D pre-assembled reversers carry the same ratings. Complete part number = LC1 (or LC2) + frame + terminal suffix + coil code; see the coil table.

Coil voltage codes availability by frame

Stocked = in Schneider's North American common coil list. Confirm = listed by Schneider; check US availability with Capital Electric before quoting. D115/D150 use UE7 for 277 VAC. AC/DC electronic coils (BNE, EHE, KUE, LSE) on D115/D150 are the LC1D115A / LC1D150A generation.

Low-consumption DC coils (●L, BBE) allow one 2-contact front block and no side-mount blocks or timer blocks.

Overload relays — LRD / LR2D / LR9D Class 10 & 20, 1NO + 1NC

Ambient compensated, differential (phase-loss sensitive), manual/auto reset, test and stop buttons, trip flag. Set the dial to the motor nameplate FLA. The selector only pairs an overload with a contactor when the bottom of its range is below the contactor's AC-3 rating.

GV2P / GV3P manual motor protectors 0.1–73 A, manual starter and Type F combinations

Max HP = largest NEC Table 430.250 motor whose full-load current falls within the dial maximum. Type F ratings are from Schneider data bulletin 8536DB0901 (GV2P/GV3P + TeSys D combination tables) at 480Y/277 V. GV2P links to LC1D09–D38 with the GV2AF3 combination block. Used alone as a manual starter, GV2P (to 32 A) and GV3P (to 65 A) carry Type E ratings with the GV2GH7 or GV3G66 line spacer (Digest 179 Section 17). Without the spacer they are manual motor controllers only. Manual starter HP ratings are from Digest Table 17.90. Terminals: screw clamp standard; ring-tongue versions add 6 to the catalog number.

Short-circuit ratings (SCCR) contactor component ratings

Schneider data bulletin 8536DB0901, Table 21 "TeSys D Contactor Maximum Component SCCR". Applies when protected by any Class J or CC time-delay fuse, or any thermal-magnetic or magnetic-only breaker, up to the size shown. Confirm the full panel SCCR per UL 508A.

NEC motor full-load current Tables 430.248 & 430.250

Use the table current to size the contactor and conductors (NEC 430.6(A)(1)). Set overloads from the motor nameplate FLA (NEC 430.6(A)(2)).
